On April 23rd, we’re holding a ‘Mystery Book Sale’ as a fundraiser for the GHLS library.
Blind date with a book!
We will be selling gently-used books wrapped in brown paper on which we have written some clues about the author and/or the story or topic, if it’s a bestseller or from a bestselling author etc.
There will be mostly adult novels in English and German, but also biographies, some crime, travel guides, and children’s books.
Join the fun and find a new favourite reading!
Please bring cash and help us raise funds for the GHLS library!

Welcome to German Heritage Language School! New classes are starting in September and are held on Thursdays at Shambhala School, 5450 Russell Street, Halifax for School year 2025/2026. Please visit our program page for more information about classes and fees. Registration is open in July!
